Pediatric & Adolescent Urgent Care of WNY will provide a wide range of pediatric services including basic surgical procedures (suturing, splinting, foreign body removal, etc.) as well as a variety of general medical procedures (IVs, blood draws, lumbar punctures, conscious sedations, etc.). While we will not be actively seeking critically ill or injured children or adolescents, we are equipped and staffed to perform life-saving emergency procedures such as intubation and stabilization. Common services include:
Sprains, contusions, broken bones and other trauma
Dehydration requiring intravenous fluids
Vomiting and diarrhea
Colds, cough, croup, ear and sinus infections
Foreign body removal (ticks, splinters, etc...)
Asthma and other respiratory illnesses
Urinary tract infections
Procedures requiring sedation
Chronic health issues with acute exacerbations
High resolution images
Digital enhancement tools
Electronic images easily sent to another physician
Comprehensive blood, urine, and chemistry analysis
Diagnostic tests for strep, influenza, mononucleosis, RSV, etc....
We are now offering blood drawing for pediatric patients. For a $25.00 fee, pediatric nurses will draw your infants or child's blood and send it to the lab.
